QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER

BeaconFire Corporation is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Tester.

  • Documenting and reporting product or service quality levels
  • Developing and implementing standards for inspection
  • Developing a workflow for product inspection
  • Developing plans to help a company manage waste
  • Communicating with other team members to solve problems
  • Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes are found
    Making recommendations for improvement.
  • Creating training materials and operating manuals.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manual testing role focused Enterprise Applications
  • Experience testing API’s and web services
  • Substantial focus on software quality, producing/reviewing requirements, and pinpointing appropriate acceptance criteria
  • Significant experience at designing positive and negative unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for multi-tiered, highly complex Enterprise systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Java, Web Services and REST APIs, JSON, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with writing and executing automation tests, such as Selenium
  • Experience with load/performance testing
  • Previous experience managing backlog (scrum)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline with Cloud or on-premise is a plus
